Research

My research at the State Key Laboratory of Emerging Infectious Diseases centers around the epidemiology and evolution of emerging infectious diseases. The main research areas that I am currently working on include:

  • Population dynamics of H5N1 viruses in southern China.
  • Ecology and evolution of Coronaviruses and the role of wild animals in the transmission of these viruses.
